Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. You will then depart with your guide for your city tour where you´ll visit the must-see of the Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, the Government House, the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colón Theatre, La Boca neighbourhood, Palermo, the Planetarium and La Recoleta. Once you´ve returned to the hotel, enjoy the rest of your day at leisure or book an evening tango show where you´ll be wined and dined while enjoying a breathaking performance. Overnight at hotel.
Following breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival in Iguassu, you will be met by your tour guide who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. From there you will go to the Brazilian side of the falls. Your trip begins at the Iguassu National Park where we will drive through the lush, subtropical vegetation of the park en route to the falls. We will take a stroll on the trail that descends down the canyon, to offer panoramic views of more than 240 falls. You will then take the glass elevator up the cliff face for an exquisite view from the upper deck.Return to the hotel for a free evening. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
After breakfast you will visit the Argentinean side of Iguassu National Park. At the entrance, a small train will take visitors on a tour through the park, making 2 stops. We will follow the pathways to the top of the waterfalls that provide spectacularly unique views of the ‘Cataratas’, amidst the abundant nature filled with orchids, colorful birds and other wildlife. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the Devil’s Throat, the largest and most awe-inspriring waterfall of the park. At this point you can continue on to the optional Great Adventure Boat Tour if you´re in the mood for a true thrill! Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and morning at leisure before departing to the airport for your flight to Salta. Upon arrival you´ll be transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon, enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Salta and the must-see MAAM (Museum of High Altitude Archaeology), known throughout the world for its archaeological collection including the mummies of the Llullaillaco Volcano. Following breakfast, you will depart from Salta on a beautiful journey through scenic hills and ravines until you reach the Calchaquies Valleys. The trip to Cachi will allow you to pass by Recta de Tin Tin and Los Cardones National Park. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
Following breakfast, you´ll continue from Cachi onto Cafayate by way of Seclantas, Angastaco and De Las Flechas´Gorge, a fascinating rock formation. Once you arrive in Cafayate you will be overwhelmed by the beauty of the village known for some of the world´s most highly regarded wines. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
Enjoy your hotel breakfast before embarking on a tour of the town and a visit to a local winery. In the afternoon you´ll depart toward Salta with a brief visit to Quebrada de Cafayate, home to yet another awe-inspiring rock formation. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
After an early breakfast, you will depart travelling along Del Toro´s Gorge to reach the town of San Antonio de los Cobres. This route is the path that takes the Train to the Clouds through its viaducts, tunnels and curlers. You will arrive in San Antonio de los Cobres and have time for lunch (not included). Afterwards you´ll continue along the Puna to reach Salinas Grandes (Salt Flat) and then descend along Cuesta de Lipan up to Purmamarca, a typical village at the foot of Seven Colors Hill. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.
Today you will enjoy a full-day excursion to Humahuaca´s gorge visiting typical and colorful villages. We start visiting the village of Purmamarca, where we will observe De los Siete Colores Hill and the Art-craft market, located in the main square. It continues towards Tilcara with its Pucara, an old pre-Colombian native fortress partially rebuilt, and the Province’s Uquia Historic Museum with its local parish church which holds a collection of paintings coming from Cuzco representing the harquebusier angels. Following this you´ll move onto Humahuaca, a town founded by aborigines in 1594. You will visit the church, the old Town Hall, and the Argentine Independence War’s Monument. After lunch (not included) you´ll return to Salta and enjoy on the way a stop at Maimara to admire the Paintor’s Palette and the Cathedral and main square of San Salvador de Jujuy. Following breakfast, you will head toward the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires for one final night. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel and then to El Querandi, one of the city´s best tango theatres, for an evening of food and tango. Overnight at hotel; breakfast and dinner included.
It´s your last day! If your flight time permits it we suggest taking the Gaucho Party Excursion to taste the traditional Argentinean barbeque, "asado". Upon hotel check-out, you´ll be transferred to the international airport for your flight home.
