DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 01 | WELCOME TO BUENOS AIRES!

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel for check-in. You will then depart with your guide for a city tour, visiting the must-sees of Buenos Aires: Plaza de Mayo, the Government House, the Cabildo, the Metropolitan Cathedral, Mayo Avenue, the Congress Palace, the Colón Theatre, La Boca neighbourhood, Palermo, the Planetarium and La Recoleta. After this exciting tour, return to the hotel to enjoy the rest of your day at leisure or book an optional evening tango show to be wined and dined while enjoying a breathtaking and sultry traditional performance.

DAY 02 | BUENOS AIRES - IGUASSU FALLS (BRAZIL)

Following breakfast, you will be taken to the airport for your flight to Iguassu Falls. Upon arrival in Iguassu, you will be met by your tour guide who will escort you to your hotel for check-in. From there you will go to the Brazilian side of the falls. Your trip begins at Iguassu National Park, beginning with a drive through lush, subtropical vegetation of the park en route to the falls. Stroll along the trail that descends down the canyon to uncover panoramic views of more than 240 falls. Hop into a glass elevator that glides up the cliff for an exquisite view from the upper deck. Return to the hotel for a free evening.

DAY 03 | IGUAZU FALLS (ARGENTINA)

After breakfast you will visit the Argentinean side of Iguazu National Park. At the entrance, a small train will take visitors on a tour through the park, making 2 stops. Follow the pathways to the top of the waterfalls that provide spectacularly unique views of the ‘Cataratas’, amidst the abundant nature filled with orchids, colorful birds and other wildlife. The highlight of the tour is a visit to the suspended platform at the very brink of the Devil’s Throat, the largest and most awe-inspriring waterfall of the park. At this point you can continue on to the optional Great Adventure Boat Tour if you´re in the mood for a truly thrilling experience!

DAY 04 | IGUAZU FALLS (ARGENTINA) - SALTA

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and a morning at leisure before departing to the airport for your flight to Salta. Upon arrival a driver will be waiting to transfer you to your hotel for check in. This afternoon, enjoy a visit to the beautiful city of Salta and the must-see MAAM (Museum of High Altitude Archaeology), known throughout the world for its archaeological collection that includes the mummies of the Llullaillaco Volcano. This evening is yours to relax or explore the surrounding area.

DAY 05 | SALTA - CACHI

Following breakfast, you will depart from Salta on a beautiful journey through scenic hills and ravines until you reach the Calchaquies Valleys. The trip to Cachi will allow you to pass by the pinturesque Recta de Tin Tin and Los Cardones National Park.

DAY 06 | CACHI - CAFAYATE

Following breakfast, your journey will continue from Cachi onto Cafayate by way of Seclantas, Angastaco and De Las Flechas Gorge, a fascinating rock formation. Upon arrival in Cafayate, you are sure to be overwhelmed by the beauty of this village known for some of the world’s most highly regarded wines. The evening is yours to enjoy dinner and wine tasting at your leisure.

DAY 07 | CAFAYATE - SALTA

Enjoy your hotel breakfast before embarking on a tour of the town and a visit to a local winery. In the afternoon you´ll depart toward Salta with a brief visit to Quebrada de Cafayate, home to yet another awe-inspiring rock formation. Overnight at hotel; breakfast included.

DAY 08 | SALTA - PURMAMARCA

After an early breakfast, you will depart travelling along Del Toro´s Gorge to reach the town of San Antonio de los Cobres. This route is the path that takes the Train to the Clouds through its viaducts, tunnels and curlers. You will arrive in San Antonio de los Cobres and have time for lunch (not included). After, continue along the Puna to reach Salinas Grandes (Salt Flat) and then descend along Cuesta de Lipan up to Purmamarca, a typical village at the foot of Seven Colors Hill.

DAY 09 | PURMAMARCA - SALTA

Today after breakfast enjoy a full-day excursion to Humahuaca´s gorge visiting typical and colorful villages. Start your visit with the village of Purmamarca, observing the De los Siete Colores Hill and the Art-craft market, located in the main square. Witness an old pre-Colombian native fortress partially rebuilt, and the Province’s Uquia Historic Museum with its local parish church which holds a collection of paintings coming from Cuzco representing the harquebusier angels. Continue to Humahuaca, a town founded by aborigines in 1594. Visit the church, the old Town Hall, and the Argentine Independence War’s Monument. After lunch (not included) return to Salta and enjoy on the way a stop at Maimara to admire the Paintor’s Palette and the Cathedral and main square of San Salvador de Jujuy.

DAY 10 | SALTA - BUENOS AIRES

Following breakfast, you will head toward the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires for one final night. Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel and then to Rojo Tango, one of the city´s best tango theatres, for an evening of food and tango.

DAY 11 | DEPARTURE

It’s your last day! If flight time permits, we suggest taking the Gaucho Party Excursion to taste traditional the Argentinean barbecue, "asado". Upon hotel check-out, you´ll be transferred to the international airport for your flight home.
