    Day 1

    Bangkok

    Upon your arrival at Bangkok airport, you will be greeted by our guide who will wait for you with your names on the signboard. He/she will escort you to your private van for your private transfer to the hotel.

    After check in, you are free to relax at your own leisure.

    Day 2

    Bangkok

    Free day to relax at your own leisure.

    Optional Tour: Travel by long-tailed boat on the picturesque Chao Phaya River and Klongs (or canals) to see the serene family homes and temples along the waterways, which gives this city the namely “Venice of the East”.  Then proceed to the Temple of Dawn (Wat Arun), whose 79m-spire silhouette has become so identified with Bangkok.  After disembarkation, proceed to visit one of the most beautiful samples of an ancient Siamese Court – Grand Palace.  Previously the resident of the Kings of Thailand, which is today used by the Royal Family only for certain ceremonial occasions.  Also stop at the Temple of Emerald Buddha, the world’s precious image of Lord Buddha.     Meet with the guide and the driver at the hotel lobby for your private transfer to Silom Village for welcome dinner with the show.

    After dinner, you will be transferred back to the hotel and relax at your own leisure.

    Day 3

    Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Phitsanulok

    Meet with the guide and the driver at the hotel lobby after check out and head to Ayutthaya World Heritage Site.

    As the capital city of Thailand from 1350 to 1767, Ayutthaya served as the center of Thai culture and international trade at the height of the country's territorial expansion. Until its final destruction by the Burmese, Ayutthaya was home to 33 different Siamese kings, and boasted a population, at one point, of over 1,000,000 inhabitants.

    Visit Chantaram Temple and Mahathat Temple. Stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants before head to Phitsanulok.

    Day 4

    Phitsanulok - Chiang Rai

    After breakfast, you will proceed towards the historical city of Sukhothai and explore the historical park, which has been declared a world heritage site by UNESCO. Found in the 13th century, Sukhothai (literally means Dawn of Happiness) was the first truly independent Thai Kingdom, which enjoyed a golden age under King Ramkhamhaeng, credited with creating the Thai alphabet. The superb temples and monuments of this great city have been lovingly restored in Sukhothai Historical Park.

    There are 193 ruins on 70 square kilometres of land. Inside are the remains of the royal palace and twenty-six temples, we will visit the other temples outside park wall as well. 

    After lunch at local restaurant, we will continue our tour in the afternoon by having lunch at one of the local restaurants before continuing to Kwan Payao for a stop of a cup of coffee and enjoy the view of the lake at the same time.

    Continue our drive to Chiang Rai and relax at your own leisure.

    Day 5

    Chiang Rai

    After Breakfast, meet with the guide and head out to the pier for the boat ride along Mae Kok River to our destination at Karen Hill Tribe village. After the visit at the Karen Hill Tribe Village, you will be met by the driver again and drive to one of the local restaurants for lunch before continuing to visit the infamous Golden Triangle where from a hill top viewpoint, you can view the splendour of the mighty Mekong joining with the Ruak River and forming the actual “Triangle” with Laos, Burma and Thailand including short boat ride on Mekong across to Laos (Don Sao) for market visit.

    Return to the hotel and relax at your own leisure.

    Optional Tour - Afternoon Mae Salong Village Visit: In the afternoon, we drive up hill by “Song Taew” (local pick-up transport to visit Mae Salong. Set high amid magnificent mountain scenery, the village of Mae Salong was founded by Kuomintang soldiers who fled China after the revolution in 1949. The combination of pack horses, hill tribes (Akha, Lisu, Mien, and Hmong) and southern Chinese style houses conjures up images of a small town or village in Yunnan Province in China.

    Day 6

    Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai

    Morning, you will visit Wat Rong Khun before drive through beautiful mountain scenery to Chiang Mai. Stop for lunch at one of the local restaurants. After lunch - continue driving up the mountain’s winding road of Doi Suthep Mountain and climb 290 steps to visit the hilltop temple of Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep. On a clear day, there are incomparable views over the city of Chiang Mai from the temple grounds. The less energetic will be pleased to know that there is a cable car up to the hill.

    Day 7

    Chiang Mai

    Reforestation and Elephant Care for a day (Private)

    The expert guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. Departure from Chiang Mai by local truck at 09.30 am. Your guide will bring you to the pergola market and buy your own tree for reforestation. On the way from Chiang Mai to the camp, you can enjoy the views of villages, temples, beautiful scenic of mountain and farms around Chiang Mai countryside.

    Drive about 45 minutes and stop at Maewang local market for getting some vegetables, bananas, sticky rice and herbs for the elephants. And getting your picnic lunch box form the villagers at the market. Walk around the market for a few minutes and continue to the camp on the Maewang mountain.

    Visit beautiful waterfall before take a short work into the forest to afforest near by the Karen village. Walk around the village to perceive the simply life of the local hill tribe people. After that continue driving to the camp.

    Arriving at Maewang Elephant Conservation camp with warm hospitality from our Karen staff. Welcome to our main lodge for relaxation and change into your mahout’s outfit which you can take home.

    Start having a conversation with our staff about the elephants, background information, general instruction and question about elephant. Learn how to make some herbs and make your own herbs for feed to your own elephant in the camp.

    Picnic Lunch at Elephant Camp.

    Meet and introduce you to your elephants and mahouts. Feed some foods and herbs to your elephant, training in basic mahout course with easy commands and get along with elephant by walking to the beautiful trail in the forest with them about 45 minutes. Take them to find the grasses and sugarcanes around the forest which is the favourite food for them.

    Play and enjoy mud spa with your own elephant, baths with elephant, finished all and goodbye to your elephant.

    Enjoy bamboo rafting along Mae Wang River (about 40 minutes) and return to Chiang Mai.

    Meet again with the driver at the hotel lobby for your private transfer to Khan Toke Dinner with Show. The “Khan Toke” dinner is traditionally specific to the people of the northern region.  Dinner is served in small bowls, known in Thai as Khan. Guests are seated on cushions at a low table, known as Toke in Thai. The cuisine served is northern Thai and it is prepared with the western palate in mind as traditional Thai food can be very spicy. During dinner, entertainers will perform the intricate Forn Leb finger dance; the Forn Thien candle dance; the Ramwong circle dance; and the Ram Dab sword dance.

    After dinner, you will be transferred back to the hotel and relax at your own leisure.

    Day 8

    Chiang Mai - Phuket

    After breakfast, check out of the hotel and meet with the guide at the hotel lobby for your private transfer to Chiang Mai airport where you will catch your onward flight to Phuket.

    Upon your arrival at Phuket airport, you will be greeted by the driver for your private transfer by minivan to the hotel.

    DAY 9 - Phuket

    Phi Phi Islands Hopping including Lunch by Speed Boat (Join-in)

    On this tour, we visit the spectacular Phang Nga Bay by speedboat. You will see where the "The Man with the Golden Gun" was filmed and explore Koh Hong's mangroves and 2 caves. (Tide and weather permitting). Lunch at a Muslim village with free time to explore. We will also visit Koh Khai suitable for snorkeling, swimming or simply relaxing. Return in the late afternoon. Time: 07:30-17:00 hr.
